New year, new me

New year

New me

Every piece

Inner peace

Self love

Meditation and

Hoping to create

A world to celebrate

This year

No fear

And no hate

But with patience

No wars

And a clear conscience

As we are all on this Earth

True love we must unearth

For each other

Our mothers, fathers

Sisters, brothers

Sons and daughters

And Mother Nature

And Father Time

Because love is in our nature

It’s natural

All we’ve got is one life

That’s factual

It’s enough time

For us all to make a difference

I’m trying to, with this rhyme

So let’s feast and

Bring peace

Hold your glasses up

This year

Is The Year

“He who hesitates is lost.”

Actions speak louder than words because talk is cheap! Follow your gut instinct and make a calculated move. Face it, life is a competition and if you’re not in the game, you’re getting played. You don’t have to buy what they’re selling. Make your own market. As they say, don’t hate the player, hate the game. Actually, don’t hate at all. Make the most of what you’ve got and where you’re at. It’s time to take action.

“I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.”

― Booker T. Washington, Up From Slavery: An autobiography

If you shall ever find

that life has all of a sudden shifted

and you are on a windy, downward spiraling road

stressed, worrisome and alone

making wishes and praying for change

and all the tears, sweat, blood and water

have dried up in your well

being alone is exactly what you need

You are all that you need

You can grow without sunlight

You can walk against the wind

You can and will succeed

You will

white picket fences

White picket fences

Don’t safeguard you

From sorrows and heartbreak

Or from feeling down and blue

Behind white picket fences

Real is false and fake is true

Lies and secrets come alive

And marriage isn’t the glue

Break down the white picket fences

See the practical truth

You don’t need Prince Charming

You need to love you

Don’t rush life for white picket fences.

Father Time is here for you

Life will work out and all will be good

Be happy and do you, boo.
